Maisel Brauerei began in 1887 with two brothers in upper Bavaria in the small Franconian village of Bayreuth. Today two Maisel brothers; Jeff and Andreas own the brewery, great grandsons of the founders, this brewery remains 100% family owned. The Maisel’s Weisse was a turning point for the beer and soon became the trendsetter for Weisse bier in Germany. Maisel’s original weisse is the true definition of a Bavarian wheat beer. This weisse pours a deep golden color with hues of copper. Brilliant white pillowing head.
