Chris Figgins, President and Winemaking Director for Figgins Family Wine Estates, is leading the charge for the next generation of the critically acclaimed family winery, Leonetti Cellar, originally bonded in 1977 by his parents, Gary and Nancy Figgins. Chris’ goal is to stay true to the family philosophy of winemaking and maintain total control over the cultivation process from start to finish. The Figgins Family is dedicated to growing, producing and marketing wine and food of world-class quality, sustainability, and pedigree. FIGGINS is a dream born of a very special piece of land that our team has spent 9 years cultivating into what we believe is one of the finest vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley. From this exceptional site, we have produced FIGGINS, an estate grown, single vineyard Bordeaux varietal blend from 32 acres. Much like the estate grown model of the Old World, this one wine has been produced of fruit only from this site and is blended from varietals that most highly elevate the potential of the site. Due to the small size of the vineyard, our inaugural vintage was produced in limited quantities.
